Just now I’ve read the news that second-year Kosta Koufos has been re-assigned by Kevin O’Connor General Manager of the Utah Jazz to play for Utah Flash in the NBA Development League.
For those of you who still don’t know what’s NBA Development League, it is also known as D-League founded 2001 and It was meant as a true minor league farm system. Koufus already appeared one game for the Utah Flash just earlier this season on January 25 and had 16 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 assists and 1 block against maine.
I can see why Koufus has moved back to D-League, in the past 25 games of this season, Koufus has average only 1.2 points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.2 assists in 3.4 minutes. He played last March 6 against LA Clippers and last Feb 27 with the Rockets which he scored only 2 points and 1 rebound.
Koufus was selected by Jazz from Ohio State in the first round of the NBA 2008 Draft.
