As if we needed more evidence that the Jazz are playing well, Mehmet Okur struggles, shooting 1-8, and finishes with eight points and five rebounds. Without question his worst game in nearly two months.
Despite his troubles the Jazz still blowout Indiana by 22 points.
Whether or not the Jazz are playing an easy schedule of late, they are not playing like a team that starts only one player, Derek Fisher, with significant playoff experience. And while San Antonio gets all of the media attention for their playoff surge, the Jazz are making a push of their own and promise to make a race out of things for the third seed in the Western conference playoffs.
They now play only one game in the next five nights before taking off on their last East coast swing of the season.

With the way the Jazz have been playing, it is not a stretch to predict that they win at least nine of their next ten games before facing the Spurs in San Antonio (this game will be a monumental). In the next ten games, the Jazz play only four teams that are playoff bound, and they are all Eastern conference squads.
I am looking forward to the next three weeks.
My whole world is shut down in anticipation for their Friday night game in San Antonio on March 30.

I know I am nitpicking, but Okurs game against the Lakers was much worse. Sure he scored 9 and got 6 boards, but he went 3 - 19 for the game…..
Playing the Magic, Heat and Cavs will be a test for them, and even Philadelphia have been playing well lately. It will be a much tougher road trip than the one late last year where they went 3 and 2.
This game coming up against the spurs could be vital though I agree, reminds me a little of playing them towards the end of the 99 season. If only the Jazz could have pulled off a win or two there and it could have all ended differently. They just didnt match up well with Portland…

sherbs makes a good point, especially because the Jazz narrowly lost the Lakers game and would have really benefited from a “normal” contribution. Still, Okur looked bad last night, but who cares cause the Jazz still won.

Did you all see this article on Williams and Paul? Pretty good review for both of them.
