After starting 12-1, the Jazz have finished the first quarter of the season at 15-5. If this keeps up, the Jazz will win 61 games this season. Not at all bad. Even the most optimistic Jazz fans will admit that a sixty win season is a stretch, but it gives us some perspective on just how good the Jazz have been to start the year.

What is the IJSPD? I was recently exposed to this little acronym by John Hollinger of ESPN.com fame. So what does IJSPD stand for? Irrational Jerry Sloan Personnel Decision. I laughed out loud when I read this because it is so true.
