Jazz Will Get Back on Track

The Jazz have now lost 3 of 4 games. During this period, they have looked only like a shadow of the team that started the season 12-1. The encouraging thing is that they are now getting out of one of the most difficult stretches they will have this season. They played four playoff teams in six nights and three of those four teams are arguably among the elite teams in the league. With the effort that it takes for the Jazz to win games, they will get tired on stretches like this, especially when the level of competition is so stiff.

The good news is that they follow this nightmare stretch with three games in ten nights against Seattle, Milwaukee and Minnesota. Look for the Jazz to get back on track. We saw the difference that a good practice made against San Antonio.

Not one of the Jazzmen I heard interviewed following the Spurs game didn’t mention the benefit of the strong practice they enjoyed. The Jazz have always been better when they have a few extra practice sessions. The offense the Jazz runs relies on execution and precision. They have clearly gotten out of their rhythm lately.

The great news for the Jazz is that they still own the best record in the NBA. At 13-4 after one month, their record is far better than even the most optimistic Jazz fan ever envisioned. They have lost only one game at home and have great talent. I am looking forward to a great December.
