Jazz to Host the Lakeshow

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. I enjoyed a lot of Turkey and some Thanksgiving basketball. I have a lot to be thankful for, the least of which is the Jazz being off to an 11-1 start, the best in franchise history.

Will Kirilenko Go Sour?

Andrei Kirilenko is one of the most versatile players in the NBA. He dominates the defensive side of the ball and is able to completely alter the offensive strategy of the opposition. He also contributes on the offensive end with his hustle and strong passing. As one of only a handful of players in NBA history to record the 5×5, he is clearly a valuable member of the team and one of the most valuable players in the NBA.

Say Goodbye to the Delta Center

The Jazz announced a ten year agreement with Energy Solutions today to change the name of the home of the Utah Jazz from the Delta Center to the Energy Solutions Arena. We have become so accustomed to the corporate sellout of arena names that this practically isn’t news. But I just don’t like it.

10 Reasons for Jazz Success

The Jazz are off to the best start in franchise history with a 9-1 record. It is not just the record but the fashion in which they are winning. If they are blowing their opponents out, they are coming from behind from large deficits in the 4th period to claim victory. The Jazz are for real.

With that being said, I have observed 10 reasons why the Jazz are currently the best team in the NBA.

Jazz Can’t Afford Let Down

The Jazz have been incredibly good through the first eight games of the season. They have won convincingly and have been the surprise team of this young season. Jazz haters will quickly point out that the Jazz were 6-2 through eight games two years ago and that they only won 20 games the rest of the season to finish the season with 26 wins. For this reason, it is imperative that the Jazz continue their winning ways and stay hot.
